Magnificent natural sites for a lazy, relaxing holiday

Renowned for its mild climate, its sunshine and its rich natural heritage, Saint-Raphaël counts among its highlights many coves, calanques and beaches stretching over some thirty kilometres, making it the ideal place for a restful and pleasant stay.

So don't miss the chance to spend your holiday in Saint-Raphaël and visit its 28 beaches, coves and calanques.

Beau Rivage

Beau Rivage

Reserved for swimmers only, it has a dedicated channel at one end for windsurfers and another for water-skiing.

It is supervised and has a large car park. It is bordered by a shady public garden with a children's playground, a pétanque pitch, crazy golf, a mini-car track, a bandstand and an obelisk-shaped memorial.

Calanque du Fournas

Calanque du Fournas

The Calanque du Fournas, a dream spot surrounded by pine trees, hidden from view and hard to reach, will enchant you with its calm and beauty and let you rest in complete peace.

Arène Grosse

Arène Grosse

Arène Grosse beach offers a charming, picturesque setting with a lovely view of the little port of Boulouris. Lined with restaurants, it is particularly popular and busy in summer. Conveniently, there are showers, toilets and a free car park nearby. Its beautiful shady promenade, running along the coast towards La Tortue beach, lets you admire superb historic houses and their gardens.

Plage de la Tortue

Plage de la Tortue

A string of small beaches of sand and red rocks with a magnificent view of the Île d'Or. A shady promenade (lit at night) links the little port of Boulouris to the other beaches.

Boulouris

Boulouris

This beach of red pebbles and white sand, dotted with little coves, offers a peaceful, comfortable setting with welcome patches of shade to shelter from the sun.

Aigue Bonne

Aigue Bonne

This pretty little beach of pebbles and sand lies next to Boulouris beach and is very popular with families for its tranquillity and safe swimming.

Dramont or Débarquement

Dramont or Débarquement

Dramont beach, also known as the "Landing" beach, is a magnificent and undeniable witness to French history. It was one of the Allied landing sites and also enjoys a postcard-perfect panoramic view.

Around 500 metres long, it is divided into two parts: one of white sand and the other of pebbles. You will love having a picnic there with friends, or renting a kayak to explore the stunning calanques of Saint-Raphaël.

Camp Long

Camp Long

Camp Long beach, at Le Dramont, is a protected site and one of the most beautiful on the Côte d'Azur. Sheltered from the waves, this beach is really a cove almost entirely surrounded by red rocks that contrast beautifully with its turquoise water, and it will delight families with children and diving enthusiasts alike.

Pourousset

Pourousset

Although Pourousset's sandy beach runs alongside the road, it is just as popular as it is lively, and stands out for the magnificent turquoise colour of its water and a wonderful view over the bay of the Esterel. On the practical side, it has a free car park, toilets and showers.

Agay

Agay

The Corniche d'Or, a road lined by the turquoise sea and the typical red rocks of the Esterel massif, links Saint-Raphaël to Cannes and leads you to truly remarkable coves.

Agay beach, remarkable for its breathtaking view of the Esterel massif, is the largest in the bay. It is ideally located close to many restaurants, so you can spend lovely days there with friends, take a break and have a drink nearby between swims.

Calanque des Anglais

Calanque des Anglais

Made up of several small, calm and intimate coves, all of red pebbles like the Esterel massif, its idyllic setting guarantees a change of scenery, perfect for rest and escape.

Baumette and Anthéor

Baumette and Anthéor

The resort of Anthéor is made up of a series of calanques starting from the Baumette cove, peaceful, wild and so picturesque with its pebble beach and red rocks. The Calanque d'Anthéor, set between sea and mountains, is also one of the most beautiful coves in Saint-Raphaël.

Among Saint-Raphaël's calanques, Baumette and Anthéor are absolutely not to be missed.

Calanque de Saint-Barthélemy

Calanque de Saint-Barthélemy

The Calanque de Saint-Barthélemy offers a calm, serene setting with a magnificent view of the village of Anthéor, the bay of Cannes and the Île des Vieilles.

Maubois

Maubois

The Calanque de Maubois is one of Saint-Raphaël's most remarkable natural sites, with its superb beach of fine sand and red pebbles, its splendid turquoise water and its pine forest, which together create a picture of paradise. It is sure to become one of your favourites.
