Accessibility

Our commitment

Hôtel La Marina wants its website to be usable by everyone, including people who browse with a keyboard, a screen reader, high zoom or visual comfort settings. The website follows the French RGAA accessibility framework (Référentiel général d'amélioration de l'accessibilité) and the WCAG 2.1 guidelines.

Compliance status

The website has not yet undergone a full compliance audit. It is therefore not yet possible to state a compliance rate.

What is already in place

  • A “Skip to main content” link, available from the first press of the Tab key.
  • A clearly visible focus indicator on every element reached with the keyboard.
  • A keyboard-operable menu: opening and closing are announced, and it closes with the Escape key.
  • Animations are turned off when your device asks to reduce motion.
  • Alternative text on informative images.
  • A hierarchical heading structure on every page.
  • A layout that adapts to small screens and browser zoom.

Known limitations

  • The YouTube videos on the blog do not always have subtitles or a transcript.
  • Some images in blog articles, carried over from the old website, have generic alternative text.
  • The Carrézen treatment menu is provided as a PDF, which is not fully accessible.
  • The online booking module is provided by an external supplier; its accessibility is beyond the hotel's control.
